BIRDS OF A FEATHER: An AU Novel featuring characters from THE CROWS in a contemporary council estate setting, minus the eldritch horror. 

Fleeing a toxic relationship and the betrayal of her so-called friends, Carrie deals with her trauma and finds friendship and support with her work-crush, Raven (she/they), who introduces her to their ex-partner, Ricky, an aromantic-spec asexual guy with a prison record embroiled in a tit-for-tat war with a rival tradesman, who believes he's missed his chance to find his Person. 

Then Caroline's ex starts stalking her, pushing the three of them closer together as Caroline learns how far she's willing to go to get rid of her ex once and for all.

Content Notes: abusive relationship with cheating and gaslighting, stalking, emotional and psychological abuse, physical threat and drink-spiking; NO SA. There is a lot of alcohol, food and overeating/comfort-eating, finger mutilation (accidental), emesis, smoking and drug use. Main elements of backstory include sudden accidental death from a sporting injury (boxing), prison record, family bereavement, familial physical abuse, and a sex-averse (mostly) asexual man questioning his aversion and trying (unsuccessfully) to 'get over it'. Queerplatonic HEA endgame, nothing bad happens to the elderly dog.
